Charley Boy’s youngest daughter, Dewy Oputa, continued to drag her father after publicly declaring that he loved her and was proud to have a gay daughter.
Earlier today, on November 20, the singer shared a photo he took with his daughter and recounted how he felt when she revealed she was a lesbian. He declared his support and said he was “grateful to have had a gay or lesbian child”

His daughter, who called him in 2018 when he made a similar statement, criticized him again and accused him of using his sexuality to gain “followers”.
Charley Boy, aka Area Fada, responded by telling him not to be like that and assuring him of his love for her.
He then shared another post, revealing that he was available to offer emotional support to other members of the LGBTQ community whose parents do not accept their sexuality.
This angered Dewy and she took to Twitter to slam him into a long thread.
She claimed that her father did not answer her calls. She added that she was almost homeless and penniless in 2017 after she was “kicked out of the house” for becoming gay.
She said her dad was social media “dad of the year” but didn’t care if she was dead or alive in real life.
She also accused him of “gaslighting” and “hypocrisy”.
She went on to share a screenshot of a post where her father called her and another child “useless children” and said her life would be better without them because they are not the one. kind of kids he wants.
Her tweets led Twitter users to call her father. Some shared old photos her father took naked and asked how he could kick his daughter out for being gay.
However, some have defended the singer and said it must be difficult for a parent to accept their gay child initially.
Below are Dewy’s tweets and their reactions.
